The Mission of SouthEnd ARTS is to create equity art exhibitions for Charlotte’s artists in Historic South End. To be successful we require participating artists to partner with us in promoting the show. When artists use their social media accounts, SouthEnd ARTS marketing, and their own personal mailing lists to get guests to our shows, they are not only getting exposure for their own work but also connecting their audience with the larger community.
SouthEnd ARTS is a North Carolina Not-For-Profit Corporation. Please read carefully before submitting:
*SouthEnd ARTS charges you a 2-day entry fee of $35, payable within 24 hours of invitation. We accept credit cards through Venmo
*When your work sells due to SouthEnd ARTS promotion of you and your work, we require a 20% commission (artists supporting artists). This keeps fees for future artists affordable, as they were for you
*By submitting your artwork, you give SouthEnd ARTS permission to exhibit your work(s) of art on all SouthEnd ARTS social media accounts and within the space of the Charlotte Trolley Powerhouse exhibit space.
*Submit a maximum of three (3) cropped, high quality and high resolution .JPG images of your original artwork. No copies, no giclees, no tutorial paintings or paint class paintings. Edition # of any photograph, etching, lithograph, etc. is required. All work must be for sale.
*All work must be properly wired for hanging. NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS
*We do not exhibit three-dimensional pieces at this time
*If your work is accepted, we require that you post at least 5 times prior to the exhibition, marketing yourself, promoting the event and encouraging guests to visit. Your guests will attend if you continually market yourself to them.
