Originally I moved to Charlotte to finish my undergraduate degree at UNC-Charlotte as an accounting major. I spent the next few years working at a Public Accounting Firm. It wasn’t until the summer of 2019 that I would get my start as a photographer. Slowly building a portfolio over the course of 2019 I applied and was accepted for an artist residency with Goodyear Arts in Camp North End. Due to Covid-19 our artist residencies were pushed back from 2020 to 2021. Over the course of 2020 I spent working on building my portfolio with the intentions of applying to graduate school for the fall of 2021. In March of this year I was accepted to various schools but decided that I would be attending Parsons Schools of Design as a graduate student pursuing my MFA. This summer will be spent between preparing for graduate school and my artist residency.
